Becas Technology Pty Ltd operates becastechnology.com.au. This policy covers this marketing website and enquiries made to our team. Information handled by a venue through its POS, parking, paging or payment system is subject to the relevant service arrangements and notices.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, message and any optional contact or business details you provide. We use these to respond, prepare a quote or help with your support request. You can leave optional fields blank or contact us by phone. Without a way to contact you, we may be unable to respond.

Please do not send card numbers, passwords, identity documents, health information or private customer records through an enquiry form.

Our website host may record technical information such as IP address, request time, requested address and browser information to deliver the website, diagnose faults and protect it against abuse. Our enquiry service temporarily uses IP addresses to limit excessive requests.

Optional advertising measurement

If you choose “Accept”, we load Google Ads to measure which ads lead to enquiries. Google may receive visit and technical information, including page addresses, advertising click identifiers, IP address, browser information and the fact that a POS quote request succeeded. We do not send the name, email, phone number or message entered in your enquiry to Google. Enhanced conversions and personalised advertising are disabled in our tag configuration.

The Google Ads tag is not loaded before you opt in. Declining does not prevent you from using the site or requesting a quote. You can change your choice using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Other third-party content

We do not use session replay. Fonts are served by Becas. Some pages load stock images from Unsplash; that provider receives connection information when an image loads. Optional YouTube videos connect to YouTube only after you choose to load them.

Who receives enquiry information

Enquiries are handled by our team and the hosting and email providers used to deliver and manage them. Our website enquiry service uses Amazon Web Services email delivery. Providers may process information in Australia or overseas, depending on their services and arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers and locations relevant to your enquiry.

We may disclose information where required or authorised by law. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Any separate marketing subscription needs its own permission and an unsubscribe option.

Keeping information

Enquiry information may be kept in business email and related service records for responding to you, managing an ongoing relationship, resolving disputes and meeting record-keeping obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable obligations. You can ask us about a particular record or request deletion; some records may need to be retained by law.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe information sent to us has been accessed or used improperly.

Access, correction and complaints

Contact us to request access to or correction of your information, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Tell us what the request relates to; we may need to verify your identity appropriately. We will consider the request and explain the outcome, including any legal reason we cannot fulfil it.
